Lots of turn over downtown these days, although it should be noted that there are several help wanted signs up here and there, so that’s got to be a good thing!

An Election of Titanic Proportions.

This is going to be an interesting couple of years, hopefully all the changes in the political landscape don’t sink us.

I should have some kind of prize for someone who can come up with a better sign than “(Conservative) Icebergs dead ahead”. Let’s see what I have lying around here for prizes, some colourful lint, 3 leftover licorice allsorts, a shiny mason jar lid…

Application Denied!

The concept for this cartoon was suggested by a friend, (Thanks Claudia!) however in reality there is a good chance that “The Harper Government” will win a majority this time around.

If you are interested in seeing a longer list of Mr. Harper’s accomplishments, this has been making it’s way around lately.

County Live Cartoons

For the last couple weeks I’ve been sending cartoons to countylive.ca, where they are featured on the home page. Countylive focuses on issues in Prince Edward County, so the cartoons I make for it do as well. For the most part anyways. I took part in Movember this year, which was good, but there were (and are) a lot of good causes out there. It can be tough to figure out which ones to support.

Airport pat downs. Eww.

We got more snow than the last couple years, and personally my snow blower cut out half way through. Still, could be worse.

Our local council cut the cheese recently. A bit of a shame really.

I hope this all works out. I suppose the option of not doing anything would be worse.

Will Matt Cooke’s recent suspension do anything to stop cheap shots in the NHL? I doubt it.
